Meaning:
O one who sits on a throne
comprising Ishana and on the left side of Shiva as Kameshwara, salutations to
you!
Worshipped by Lakshmi and Saraswati
on either side, you symbolise that eternal union with the Supreme!
Your manifestations like Shyamala
and Bhagala worship you! Your lotus like feet are experts in removing evil
desires! You are the complete and supreme form, worshipped by Subrahmanya,
Vishnu and others!
You carry the elephant goad, the
coiled rope, a sugarcane bow and arrows made of five flowers! You reside in the
Sri Chakra which is effulgent and has defined place, time and objects of
worship!
Notes:
(i) This kriti describes Devi as depicted in the Sarvananda Chakra, the centre
of the Sri Chakra. The throne on which Devi sits is said to be comprising Siva
as the plank and Brahma, Vishnu, Isha and Rudra as the four feet. Lakshmi and
Saraswati and other deities are said to be waiting on Devi.
